The things you put behind you.
I don’t think words could describe how stressful the next few weeks are going to be. I have several exams and quizzes, lab report and homework due, and my interview for pharmacy school. When I step back and look at it, it doesn’t seem like much; it doesn’t seem too bad. But the weight of my upcoming interview, which will pretty much be the deciding factor for my career, is...

But life is about who you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness, and compassion. It’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It’s…

Really, too bad.
I might be crazy, but I think I kind of like my microbiology class. It’s really hard, it’s a ton of tiny little factoids and minut details, and I have been doing awful on the quizzes and exams. But I don’t mind the material. I don’t mind going to the hour and half long review sessions three times a week. The professor weirds me out a little, but he talks about this stuff...
Hoping for the best.
Praying for a comeback.

Valentine’s Day. Some might think of it as one of the best days of the year, filled with love, roses, chocolate, romance…some might loathe it and say they hate their non-existent love life and lack of significant other to spend the day with. I certainly don’t have any special plans…this year, February 14th will just be another day in my planner, filled with homework,...

Two hours.
It’s amazing what two hours can do to you.
My family went to my grandparent’s this weekend, which is a little over two hours from Purdue. I wanted to go, and I would have if I had my own car at school…but at the same time, I’m glad I didn’t. Last week was hell, this upcoming week is going to be hell, I’m still behind in classes, I have exams to study for, and...
W.W.A.D.?
What would America do if the Superbowl was cancelled? I’m not asking this because I don’t like football; I’m not trying to start anything; I’m not angry or protesting the sport…I’m just wondering, how would people react if the Superbowl stopped happening?
It’s not a holiday…it happens on a Sunday, which means that Monday is the next day, and that...
Things that I don't joke about...
I will NEVER tolerate someone using the word “retarded” as an adjective. NEVER. I don’t understand how people, boys especially, can be so incredibly ignorant. And when I say ignorant, I mean ignorant, as in “lacking knowledge”. Maybe I was raised different, maybe I have been more exposed, maybe I realize what a BLESSING it is to have an aunt who has Downs Syndrome, a...
